Eligible third-party administrators are now offering rebates and other incentives as part of the State Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) Program. The government program provides incentives to households and small businesses that install high-efficiency equipment and appliances.

Who Is Eligible to Receive Rebates?
Anyone who fits in any of the following categories may be eligible for rebates covering up to 90% of their total job cost:
- Single- and multi-family homes with a household income of 150% or less of their area median income
- Small businesses with up to 50 employees
- Adult family homes (AFH) licensed by the Department of Social and Health Services
What Equipment Is Eligible for Rebates?
The following, if Energy Star Certified and AHRI CEE North Region Certified, are eligible for rebates and incentives:
- Air-source and ground-source heat pumps
- Heat pump water heaters
- Heat pump clothes dryers
- Electric panel and wiring upgrades are required for new electric equipment installation.

How Much Funding Is Available for This Program?
Approximately $77,600,000 from the State Climate Commitment Account is available to fund rebates and incentives programs like HEAR across the state of Washington, including Walla Walla and Columbia Counties.
